How do GEICO and BoatUS work together?

Both BoatUS and GEICO are Berkshire Hathaway companies. Boat insurance policies, including coverage for TowBoatUS towing claims, are underwritten by GEICO Marine Insurance Company. BoatUS staff handles sales, service, claims and towing dispatch for both BoatUS and GEICO boat insurance customers. In addition to towing and insurance services, BoatUS also encourages joining its Association which provides 25 boating benefits and services to its dues-paying Members.

How do I submit requested documentation?

If you have an active policy, login here to your account to submit documentation. For insurance requirements, navigate to View Policy, and then Upload Photos/Docs.

For documents regarding a claim, navigate to View Policy, and then Your Claims
