Boston Whaler designers set out to gain an efficiency, and boost and improve the ride in their Outrage lineup. The result for 2026 is the world’s first Whaler with a stepped hull. Alongside its smaller sistership the 290 Outrage, the 330 is designed to give offshore anglers everything they need to make that big catch as well as social layouts and comfort features that please the entire family.

Called the WhalerStep, this twin-stepped hull design incorporates a keel of sorts along the centerline from the back of the second step aft. This gives the hull extra bite in turns, ensuring confident control. Whaler says the result is a smoother, drier, and more efficient ride that delivers confident handling, improved range, and improved safety in demanding offshore conditions.

The helm station is designed for Simrad’s latest NSS4 MFD displays and can house a pair of 16-inchers. Dome or open-array Halo radar, a 1kW thru-hull transducer, VHF radio, and satellite weather and radio are all available factory options.

The bow of the 330 Outrage delivers a healthy dose of luxury, including a massive lounger in front of the console. Underneath there’s stowage for up to 10 rods, a pair of 5-gallon buckets, and more.

Anglers will find everything they need aboard, ranging from the 50-gallon transom livewell to the 57-gallon fishboxes in the deck. Note that the boat is also designed to accept a bow-mount trolling motor, and there’s a pre-rig option including battery trays, a trolling motor panel, and an onboard charger.
