Did Yamaha find the sweet spot between a boat and personal watercraft? The new CrossWave makes a strong case as a vessel for fishing or extended day trips.

It’s a flats skiff! It’s a tricked-out fishing kayak! It’s a personal watercraft? Whatever you think about this distinctive PWC, Yamaha’s CrossWave certainly turns heads. At 12 feet, 11 inches with a 5-foot, 7-inch beam, the CrossWave is the only PWC we know of with full walkaround decks.

Rails and built-in attachment points allow for additional customizable storage and gear.

The CrossWave can support up to four riders and integrates 82 gallons of storage between the in-deck compartments and cooler. The 26.4-gallon fuel tank is massive for a PWC, giving it an optimal cruising range of over 100 miles, according to Yamaha.

See what the CrossWave is capable of in this video from Yamaha:

The CrossWave’s helm design features boat-like dual touchscreen displays: a 7-inch Connext touchscreen and a 7-inch Simrad NSX chartplotter/fishfinder. The 1.9-liter, 200-hp Yamaha engine tops out around 55 mph.
