Not all power catamarans are built to chase big fish. The Aquila 45 Sport trades rod holders for cup holders and livewells for luxury lounges to create a party platform with plenty of elbow room. A 15-foot beam (that expands to 19 feet with optional hydraulic fold-down aft side doors) enables seating for 15. Keep them entertained with social zones located fore and aft, a wet bar area with refrigerator and sink, and multi-zone stereo system. A massive fiberglass hard top provides plenty of shade and the perfect spot for optional roof rack for kayaks and SUPs. And when the party’s over and the guests have departed, there’s a king size bed in a cozy cabin below with a freshwater electric flush toilet, sink with hot/cold faucet, and shower.

The aft deck’s shape-shifting U-shaped seating can be arranged to face aft or forward, converts to a large sunbed with fill-in cushions, or dining area with table insert. The neighboring galley area is set up for optional barbecue and television installations.

The swim platform wraps around the twin Mercury 600hp V12 outboards that, coupled with the cat’s double-stepped hull technology delivers top speeds over 50 mph and efficient 30-40 mph cruising. Aquila’s patented slide out concealed stainless steel swim ladder with integrated hand holds for safety, and fresh water pull out shower (hot or cold) for comfort.

Belowdecks, you’ll find a cabin with king size bed and a large private wet head with shower. A large ceiling skylight provides natural light to accent the light wood laminate furniture, and maintenance-free synthetic flooring. Some nice cabin touches include LED accent and reading lights, upholstered panels throughout, ample storage, and AC power outlets.
