Center-console builder Sea Pro has expanded its popular Family Sandar Boat line with a new flagship, the 265FLX. This one, however, features an extended and redesigned deep-V hull with added flare that Sea Pro says enhances performance, provides a dry ride, increases fuel efficiency, and improves how the boat sits in the water at rest at the sandbar.

STANDOUT FEATURES

Don’t be fooled by the “Sandbar Boat” name. With twin 250-hp outboards, the 265FLX tops out at 58 miles per hour. At optimum cruising speed (about 31 mph) the boat gets about 2.4 miles per gallon, according to the manufacturer.

With limited seating on a center-console, it had better be comfortable. The twin helm seats with foldaway arm rests rotate 360 degrees to keep the conversation going.

Sea Pro says the extended hull on the 265FLX design opens up rear seating options. Versatile stern lounge seating that can face forward, backward, or convert to a bed. An air compressor under the starboard gunwale makes inflating water toys easy, and stereo controls on the aft-facing portside gunwale lets the DJ keep his toes wet.

In the bow, removable backrests allow forward facing seating, while a table cushion converts the space into an open lounge for sunbathing. A stowaway bow table makes for a cozy dining area.
