Use inReach by itself
inReach can send pre-loaded text messages and SOS alerts (with delivery confirmation) and enable remote tracking, all via pushbutton.

Pair inReach with a companion device
When paired with an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices, or DeLorme Earthmate PN-60w GPS, inReach enables send-and-receive text messaging, up to 160 characters.

Message delivery confirmation
inReach will confirm delivery of any text or SOS message, whether it's in standalone or paired mode.

Remote tracking
Designate anyone you choose to follow your travels online. Your latest position and "breadcrumb" trail are displayed. Followers can also "ping" your inReach to see your location.

Worldwide satellite coverage
The inReach relies on the Iridium satellite network. Iridium's whole earth coverage far surpass that of other satellite systems allowing two-way messaging, delivery confirmation, and pole-to-pole global connection.

Two-Way Satellite Messaging with BoatUS DispatchLink inReach to BoatUS

BoatUS Members are able to link the inReach unit with their BoatUS Membership saving valuable time when requesting on-water assistance from BoatUS. After pressing the Message button on the inReach unit, Membership and GPS tracking information will be transmitted automatically to the BoatUS 24-hour Towing Dispatch Center allowing BoatUS to dispatch the nearest TowBoatUS or Vessel Assist towboat to your location. Once BoatUS receives your request for assistance, the light above the message button will continuously flash once.

After purchasing an inReach unit, visit explore.delorme.com, to register your inReach device. Click on the “My Info” tab then click on "Manage BoatUS." You’ll need to enter you Membership number and boat information to link the Message button on your inReach unit to BoatUS.

After successful activation, should you wish to test your inReach device, please first contact the BoatUS 24-hour dispatch center by calling 800-391-4869.

Log in to your account at explore.delorme.com, click on the “My Info” tab and click on “Manage BoatUS.”

You’ll need to enter your Membership number to link the Message button on your inReach unit to BoatUS Dispatch Center.
