ADVICE REQUEST: I AM UNABLE TO DECIDE BETWEEN '06 26BR OR '06 28BR.

I BOAT ON A FRESH WATER LAKE, STRICTLY PLEASURE NO FISHING, NO SKIING. ONE TO FOUR COUPLES ONLY FOR ENTERTAINMENT.THE 26 WILL BE EASIER TO MAINTAIN, AND  TRAILER WHEN I WANT TO.

THE 28 WILL COST MORE, AND BE MORE DIFFICULT TO MOVE WHEN I WANT TO. BUT, IT CERTAINLY HAS MORE 'PRESENCE'. AND IT GOES FASTER. ANY THOUGHTS?

in what i have found, and this is only my thoughs, the 28 even though it may cost more, in the long run will sell for more also, the more options the boat has the higher resale value it will have, not to mention, you will always want a bigger boat. good luck with which one you chose from. both are a great boat.

THANKS. YOU'RE MAKING ME SCRATCH MY HEAD AS I LABOR WITH THIS DECISION. HA! THERE'S ABOUT A $37K DIFFERENCE EVEN THOUGH BOTH ARE COMPARABLY OPTIONED.

ANY BODY ELSE HAVE THOUGHTS?

For $37,000 you'd probably be able to purchase all the fuel you'll use for the duration of ownership.  (I'm guessing you didn't mean $3,700.)

I'd love the extra room, speed, resale & presence but for me, (though I might regret it occasionally) I'll smile at the extra $37,000 before I regret the decision.

yea 37,000 for two feet difference is way to much, didnt realize it was that much more, hell for that price you could pay chip fouse , or what ever his name is , to come give it a custom paint job on it as well as import a sweetish woodcrafter to make it really elite, and still have enough left over for fule for the rest of the time you own the boat.

two feet is not worth 36k...
