I hope this is the place to post a new 'thread', and if it is, then I shall be very happy to reveal all I know about the 288 S/B and describe why and how I did such a conversion from gas to diesel. It was quite the learning process and much was revealed about the Thompson boat manufacturing process and the finished product. I should have begun this (well I did actually) a year ago, and did have every intention of doing so. Life got in the way!

If somebody can let me know if such a project is worth writing about now, please do. All I have to do now is figure out how to get back to this page.
