Hello, and thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.  We are looking at a 2001 Carver 356 AC.  It is a big step up for us from a large run about but we chartered a similar boat for a week and fell in love with the idea of doing more locally.  Any hesitations or precautions to heed?  The helm station is set back from the front of the flybridge, does anyone find that awkward?  What kind of cruising speed and fuel consumption can I expect with these gas inboards?  Thanks again.  JMB
