Hi, I am pricing a 2003 Searay 220 in NADA. Just wondering if the option selections "Fresh Water Cooling system" and "Fual injection" would be valid selections or perhaps I am not understanding them correctly? These add about $1400 to the price. Most motors in 2003 were EFI as a standard, and I would think the same for the cooling system. Thiese boats do not have heat exchangers. Any thoughts?

About your fresh water cooling system...if the boat is only run in lakes (fresh water) then I do not see a need but if the boat runs in the ocean (salt water) then a fresh water cooling system is a must (i believe). take it from one who runs in salt water.

First, increase your font please! My eyes are to fragile. Salt water=fresh water cooling. Period!

Is this better!! Thanks for the replies. I now understand "Fresh water cooling" is a boat with a heat exchanger, as opposed to a raw water cooling boat. I beleive the seller misunderstood this option in NADA, as this boat does not have a heat exchanger.
