Anyone know where I can find a replacement for the simulated wood dash pieces that hold the gauges?  I called Doral and they said that for my boat (2000 300SC), the contractor that they used is no longer in business.  They gave me the name of another company and said they could custom make replacement parts but they are not cheap.  Mine are not broken but have sun damage, "wood" finish is peeling off, etc.  Thanks

Had the same problem when I bought my boat.
I had re-done at a local firm that specializes in things like that and the result is simply amazing. They are based outside Athens Greece.
I bet you will be able to find someone around your area that does the same thing.

Not yet.  I did find a local company but it is very expensive and it is only cosmetic so will probably wait awhile.  Thanks for asking.

Sounds like either it's VERY sun damaged (and blistered) wood or whatever they're using has ultimately 'failed' over time....?

If it is really ugly and distracting, how about simply a laminate or vinyl coating...like (believe it or not) a "MAC TAC?"  Simulated wood finish.

it actually is plastic with a laquer finish that simulates wood appearence.
