I own a '90 Carver Montego 3257. I am currently experiencing a problem with my shore water line. I have almost no pressure from my sinks except for the first few seconds after turning the faucet on. The pressure coming in the hose is more than adequate. I can't trace the water line after the hose hooks into the boat. Can someone please give me some ideas of what I can do to correct this problem.

I have the same problem but in reverse: pressure starts at zero and very slowly grows to spec - over maybe 5 minutes.

I'm not positive what it is yet, but I think it is the pressure reducer in the shore water fitting.  Does your fitting have the same reducer?

Ron

Thank you for answering. I was beginning to wonder if anyone read these things. I'm not sure about the reducer. I just found a spot where I can crawl in to look as my shore hook up from the inside, but it's very tight and requires me to inch my way over my starboard gas tank. I'm not going to try it until I can have a safety spotter incase I get stuck. I'll get back to you when I find out.

I got the problem fixed. was able to reach and remove old reducer, and replace it. I have full water pressure again.
