Bought a leftover 2005 Intrigue (New boat) this past April. We now have over 70 hrs. on her and absolutely love the boat. Our boat has 350 Mag (300 HP) engines and jumps right up on plane. I've had the boat to 43 MPH at about 4500 RPM. I'm sure it will do 50. In rough seas, with the drives down and trim tabs down, the boat will plane at about 20 MPH and takes the waves very well. The cored hull is very strong and the boat never shudders. We had a 2001 270 SC with a single 7.4 merc before this boat and the Intrigue is much more stable. There is far less need to adjust the trim tabs to keep the boat level. The lighted bow rail at night really draws a lot of attention. Everywhere we go, people remark about the boat. We hope you love yours as much as we do.

By the way, there is a new Doral owners website at www.doralowners.com

Enjoy

Al - ditto on the ride. Very solid.

Also, regarding the rails, we do get people walking all the way around
the marina to ask how I got those installed .   I also love the rails
themselves, very thick and high... I raft up to much taller boats, like 37
fotters, and my bow rails end up being level with theirs...

The other thing I get a lot of positive comments on is the teak swim
platform.
