Hi. back again.  Sold my 30 weekender so my 9 year old son could tube and water ski.  Came across a 1996 270 SD (older than I was looking for) with a 7.4 MPI LX 330hp FWC with 95hours and bravo III. Boat is mint.  Price firm at 25K. Is this a deal?  I know we can tube off it , can we ski?  Any comments would be appreciated. Or are you selling something more appropriate.

Sounds like we are in a similar situation, considering a 270SD.  I have a 260 Sundancer and wanted something that would be more suited to skiing/wakeboarding.  I test drove the SD this past weekend and I was very impressed.  It accelerated like crazy and was on plane very fast.  I think it would be an awesome boat for skiing.  It also handled great cutting circles like a small runabout.  The newer models have a wider beam than my DA and also have a small berth in front of the driver console, so hopefully the significant other will be happy.  I can't comment on the price but you might try NADA and look up the specifics to see if its close.  HTH
