  • The Brand Engagement Coordinator serves as a key player in activating the BoatUS Angler Brand, executing consumer-facing brand engagement programs and supports the implementation of target specific marketing strategies. The coordinator is charged with assisting the growth of BoatUS Angler Membership and Insurance, increasing online and offline communities, managing social, interactive, and event networks, creating meaningful and compelling connections and relationships with Members, the fishing community, consumers, retailers and manufactures that build equity in the brand.

    Responsibilities include:
    * Perform duties as liaison for boat manufacture and dealer programs
    * Assist in the development of retailer programs
    * Execute event marketing strategies at tournaments, fishing and boat shows
    * Recruit new partners and groups to achieve growth in Angler Membership
    * Produce monthly email newsletter
    * Manage and cultivate the online Guide/Charter program and Events database
    * Grow and maintian BUSA digital communities through social networks and interactive video platforms
    * Write, edit and proofread a wide variety of content and media, including marketing materials, website, blogs and PR
    * Work cooperatively with key team members and business units

    Telecommuting option is available for the right candidate.
  • Required Qualifications:
    * 2+ years sales, marketing and branding experience in the fishing industry
    * Ability to work independently but also comfortable working in a team environment
    * Creative business thinker that supports/ endorses the BUSA and BoatUS product and service philosophy and brand
    * Fluent with social media and interactive platform
    * Good networking capabilities both internally and externally
    * Skilled written verbal communicator and presenter who will represent the business goals of the brand in the public
    * 20%-25% overnight travel
