COVID-19 State Information
GEICO Marine Insurance Company (GMIC) paused cancellation of policies for non-payment until May 31, 2020. We continue to monitor COVID-19 updates including state specific guidelines and any required changes. Please note that we will follow all state specific requirements. These changes will be automatic and require no action from you unless specifically noted below.
If you can make a payment, we strongly encourage you to do so, as unpaid bills must still be paid after the pause period to avoid cancellation.

COVID-19 Details by State
If you are unable to make a payment due to the COVID-19 pandemic contact us and we will:
- Provide a 60 day suspension on cancellation if you are unable to make a payment on time;
- Not charge late payment fees or report late payments to credit rating agencies.
We’re dedicated to working with you to develop flexible payment plans once normal billing resumes. Phone or Email requests must be received no later than August 21, 2020 and mailed requests must have a postmark date no later than August 21, 2020 to request the 60 day suspension of cancellation.
