The National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration is warning owners of 4.6 million recalled
Ford vehicles to bring them (Ford, Lincoln and Mercury SUV's, pickup
trucks, vans and passenger cars) to dealerships as soon as possible.
These vehicles require a repair to the cruise control system which
has been linked to engine fires.
Vehicles affected
include:
- 1993-2004 F150
- 1993-1996 Bronco
- 1993-1999 F250
(gasoline engine)
- 1994-1996 Econoline
- 1997-2002 Expedition
- 1998-2002 Lincoln

- 1998-2002 Ranger
