Should one chock the front wheels or the back wheels when launching and hauling a heavy boat?

I have never thought of chocking the front wheels. For whatever reason, I gravitate towards the rear of the vehicle when I have chocks in hand. Here is a good tip for chocking your wheels at the boat ramp. Attach the chocks to a piece of rope and loop the rope around your hitch. When you pull up the ramp the chocks will follow allowing you to get up to level ground before having to get out and remove them.
