Boat Trailering Guys,

Do you have an opinion in ref to nitrogen filled tires? I tow 800 miles twice a year.

I have not used nitrogen for tires. There is some great information on the BoatU.S. website about nitrogen at: http://www.boatus.com/trailerclub/trailer_tires.asp There are benefits listed for using nitrogen, especially when towing longer distances however I think that the locations offering nitrogen at their air pumps are few and far between and I am also a firm believer in checking my trailer regularly when on the road, so I don't see having to check/adjust air pressure on a regular basis as a problem as it forces me to inspect the axle, hubs and tires when travelling.
