I read in the June/July issue of Trailering Magazine that you recommend trailering clips for outdrive boats. Do you recommend them for outboards? My boat is a 17' bass boat with a 115 hp outboard. The motor has a brace I flip down from below the cowling that fits snugly into a slot in the mounting bracket that attaches the motor to the boat. Is that enough support, or should I be looking for additional support? Doug Shamblen
I have a 24' boat and am thinking about power loading it at the ramp (when I get the courage). If three people are in the boat, including me at the wheel, do I have to worry about weight distribution of the passengers/crew when driving up onto the trailer? T. Lassiter Kankakee Illinois
Any suggestions as to one man loading and unloading a 23' center console on and off a roller trailer when there is no dock next to the ramp?
I recently purchased a new aluminum trailer and ever once in awhile when unloading I find the boat becomes a little difficult to get off the trailer. I have heard that a bunk spray is out on the market and that this might solve the problem. Wanted to find out from you guys on what you think? Rick
Dear Mike and George: My question is regarding the use of a Reese Hitch Extender (adds 14" or 18" to a 2" x 2" receiver). Can I use it while towing my Fishin Barge 21 pontoon boat with my Honda Ridgeline truck about 5 miles to the launch ramp? Once again, thank you for your help. Hector Brito
