Looking for a speaker or video on cruising, racing, inland or offshore fishing, boat maintenance, boat insurance, or marine weather for an upcoming meeting of your boating or fishing club? The BoatUS Speakers Bureau may be able to help.

The bureau, a free service, has 350 speakers nationwide - mostly volunteers - on a variety of boating topics. We also offer a selection of boating education videos that can be borrowed for viewing at club meetings.

Arrangements for a speaker or video should be made as far in advance as possible. Three weeks notice for a speaker and one week notice for a video is preferred.

When inviting a speaker, try to provide basic meeting information: meeting date, time, location, topic requested, number of attendees expected, length of presentation requested, note any audio/visual equipment your group can offer, and include the name of the speaker in the email.
