New name is Eco Discovery Park. Great place to put in - only a few minutes down the creek to the James River - and reasonable at $5 per launch or $100 for the year. Friendly folks run it and improvements are always being made. Several notes: 1. Low tide can be a bear - draft in the basin is adequate but getting out to the James can be a challenge if you draft more than 12-18 inches. 2. The ramp is old concrete which should help with traction, but it doesn't help enough. The ramp is moderately steep and when it gets wet or there is slime on it, I recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle to pull even a mid-sized boat out without lots of slippage. 3. Use caution at Jamestown Park Bridge. There are hidden rocks on both sides. Charts show them but some are invisible even at high tide. 4. The two Parkway bridges are low. Not a problem for midsize craft, but larger ones may have a challenge.
