ALEXANDRIA, Va., January 14, 2013 -- BoatUS Angler, the fishing boat insurance program that also offers valuable roadside boat trailer assistance and on-the-water towing service, announced today that it has re-signed Kurt Dove to their national pro-staff. Kurt competed in the Bassmaster Elite Series for three seasons from 2006-2008 and will return to Elite Series competition in 2013. Dove has been guiding full-time on Lake Amistad in Del Rio, Texas. The last two years he recaptured his desire to return to the top level of competitive bass fishing and re-qualified for the Elite Series through the 2012 Bassmaster Northern Opens.
Steve Levi, BoatUS Angler
brand manager said, "Kurt has been working with our team for several years now and he has become an angler that has shown us great value in promoting our marine insurance program and our 24/7 on-the-road and on-the-water towing services. Kurt will continue to provide content for our newsletter, pro-staff blogs and upcoming video section at BoatUSAngler.com. We also look forward to teaming up with Kurt and presenting one of our members with a unique opportunity that we will announce this coming spring.”
Kurt tells us, “I am ‘stoked’ to strengthen my relationship with BoatUS Angler. You keep hearing these stories about how members have been assisted with untimely breakdowns – whether it is getting towed back to the launch ramp or given help when their rig is broken down on the side of the road. It makes you proud to help more anglers become aware of a service that saves valuable time and money. Not to mention when you have a great tournament you can get rewarded with the BoatUS Angler Weigh-to-Win contingency program
