BoatUS ANGLER Adds Nationally Recognized Fishing Pro & Guide "Captain Steve" Chaconas To "Ask The Experts"
BoatUS ANGLER, the new customized membership program offering services for freshwater anglers with fishing boats, has expanded its online “Ask the Experts” program with the addition of nationally recognized bass fishing guide and outdoor columnist Steve Chaconas. “Captain Steve” joins a diverse panel of experts who answer anglers’ questions relating to trailering, boating, navigation and much more at http://www.BoatUSANGLER.com
Mike Pellerin, director of the BoatUS Fishing Division, said, “Captain Steve is the perfect fishing ‘answer-man.’ His many years’ experience as a top pro, fishing guide and a bass fishing writer enable him to communicate with anglers of all levels. No matter whether you just enjoy a quiet afternoon at the lake with the kids or you’re heading up the ladder in competitive fishing, our goal is to help everyone fish their own personal best and get the answers they need,” added Pellerin.
In addition to tapping into his own personal experience, Captain Steve will field questions from anglers by reaching out to his wide network of friends ranging from top fellow Bassmaster and FLW tournament pros as well as some of fellow outdoors writers and fishing gear insiders. “Steve is well connected so anglers have access to some great fishing resources,” added Pellerin.
Captain Steve will have a bass fishing column in the BoatUS ANGLER “Tacklebox” newsletter which offers advice on everything fishing, including ‘fish tales’ from readers. Some anglers’ questions may be selected for the ANGLER Q & A section of “Tacklebox” which will be included in BoatUS Trailering, the bi-monthly magazine for anyone with a trailer boat.
BoatUS ANGLER is a customized membership program of services for anyone with a freshwater fishing boat (up to 26-feet) that provides 24/7 assistance with just one phone call, including roadside breakdown and on-the-water assistance that covers both the boat and tow vehicle. Starting at just $12.50 a year it also includes launch ramp rebates, safety information, access to customized fishing boat insurance, money saving reward certificates and discounts on fuel and repairs at over 850 marinas across the U.S. For more information, go to http://www.BoatUSAngler.com or call 866-906-0013.
