Eligibility

Participation in the West Advantage Silver Rewards Program™ is Free. Participation in the West Advantage Gold Rewards Program™ featuring the Boat Owners Association of The United States requires payment of membership dues at the time of enrollment and annually to renew membership. Participation in either West Advantage (Silver or Gold) Rewards Program (collectively, "Program") is limited to individuals making purchases through West Marine retail stores, catalog or online at  westmarine.com. West Marine wholesale customers (e.g., Port Supply customers), businesses and other entities do not qualify for Program membership. Membership Cards for either Program ("Membership Card") are accepted for purchases made at any West Marine store, or through the catalog division or online at westmarine.com. In either Program, a qualified merchandise purchase ("Qualified Purchase") is required to earn West Advantage Points ("Points") toward Program Reward Certificates ("Reward Certificates"). Boating product purchases are considered Qualified Purchases. Towing and trailer services, boat financing, boating insurance, and other services that are purchased are considered non-merchandise. Members enrolled in the West Advantage Silver Rewards Program with no Qualified Purchase activity within a twelve (12)-month period of enrollment date forfeit accrued Points. Members enrolled in the West Advantage Gold Rewards Program will retain their Points regardless of Qualified Purchase activity, provided BoatUS membership dues are paid when due and there is no interruption in membership. BoatUS memberships, which are not renewed within thirty (30) days past expiration, will automatically be enrolled in the FREE West Advantage Silver Rewards Program and rules applicable to that Program will apply. West Marine Associates may join either Program, and are subject to special terms and conditions in each Program found on Store Net and training materials. Program Members ("Members") earn one (1) Point for every one dollar ($1.00) of Qualified Purchases by presenting their Membership number or card or by providing their phone number at the time of making a Qualified Purchase. Points earned and Reward Certificates awarded pursuant to either Program have no cash redemption or currency value. Points in either Program cannot be awarded for Qualified Purchases made prior to enrollment. Points can only be applied to the Program account belonging to the individual making the Qualified Purchase. Identification may be required. Points earned will be adjusted for all Qualified Purchases that are returned for refund or credit or are substituted or replaced with non-merchandise or merchandise that is not a Qualified Purchase. Shipping, taxes, Port Supply transactions, towing and trailer services, boat financing, boating insurance, and other non-merchandise items and services are excluded from earning Points in either Program. Coupons, other reward certificates and gift certificate redemptions are also excluded.

Member Reward Certificates

Reward Certificates will be issued automatically once a Member has accumulated 500 points for West Advantage Silver Rewards Program and 250 points for West Advantage Gold Rewards program. Reward Certificates issued are in $5.00 increments to Members enrolled in the West Advantage Silver Rewards Program and in $10.00 increments to Members enrolled in the West Advantage Gold Rewards Program. Reward Certificates may be used only towards future Qualified Purchases. Reward Certificates expire six (6) months from the date of issue and are reflected on the certificate. Reward Certificates have no cash or other currency value. Therefore, when a Reward Certificate is used toward the purchase of a Qualified Purchase and the retail price of the Qualified Purchase(s) is less than the Reward Certificate's stated value or amount, no cash change, credit or difference in face value, or otherwise, will be given or redeemable. Rewards Certificates may be redeemed for Qualified Purchases made in West Marine stores, catalog or online at westmarine.com. Points and Rewards Certificates cannot be applied to Qualified Purchases made prior to enrollment in a Program; non-merchandise purchases; clearance-priced merchandise; gift card purchases; purchases made by Associates at Associate pricing; Port Supply purchases; taxes, shipping and handling charges; or as payments towards credit card, insurance, financing or other non-merchandise services. Rewards Certificates may not be valid on select items, including, but not exclusive or limited to, Bose, Penn, Shimano, and selected Garmin products. West Marine reserves the right to change this list of excluded product at any time, for any reason, without prior notification.

Other Benefits

West Advantage Gold Rewards Program Members automatically will be enrolled in the West Advantage Silver Rewards Program. Member benefit offers are valid in the United States and Canada only, unless otherwise specified, and are subject to change at any time. Additional Program benefits, such as West Marine Platinum MasterCard, are subject to additional terms and conditions.

Program Termination

Membership in either Program is active for one year from the date of enrollment. In the event one or both Programs are terminated for any reason as determined solely by West Marine, remaining Point balances and Reward Certificates will be forfeited and void at the time of Program termination. West Marine reserves the right to change, modify or alter either Program's rules, terms and conditions and limitations, or to cancel in whole or in part one or both of these Programs at any time, for any reason, without prior notification. West Marine also reserves the right to modify, adjust, change or cancel, in whole or in part, any individual Membership, Points and/or Reward Certificates and/or the terms and conditions applicable to such Membership, Points and/or Reward Certificates, including those previously issued, for any reason, without prior notification. If Membership, Points and/or Reward Certificates, including those previously issued, are modified, adjusted, changed or cancelled, in whole or in part, West Marine and/or BoatUS will notify the individual Member after such modification, adjustment, change or cancellation occurs by any means of communication as determined appropriate by West Marine or BoatUS This Membership offer and participation is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Privacy

Member information and rosters will be used by West Marine Products, Inc., Boat America Corporation, and its Program partners for marketing purposes and/or to send you information regarding products and services that may be of interest to you. A copy of West Marine and BoatUS Privacy Policies are available online at westmarine.com and boatus.com, respectively, or by mail upon request. Mail-in requests should be directed to West Marine Mail Preference Service, Marketing, P.O. Box 50077, Watsonville, California, 95077-0070. All Member information will be maintained in accordance with such Privacy Policies, which are incorporated herein by this reference. By becoming a Member, you acknowledge and agree that such Privacy Policies shall apply.
