United States Coast Guard Auxiliary (USCGA) – Established in 1939, these men and women dedicate over 2 million hours of their time to boating safety. From Vessel safety checks, harbor patrols, safe boating courses to search and rescue operations, and marine environmental protection they are dedicated to committed to making boating safe . In recognition of the great service they provide to boaters, USCGA members receive special pricing on BoatUS Memberships and Towing. United States Power Squadron (USPS) – Established in 1914 this non profit has 45,000 members in 450 squadrons across the country. Each squadron's activities involve the three primary objectives of USPS: community service, continuing education, and enjoying the friendship and camaraderie of our fellow members. Local squadrons offer boating safety courses on a regular basis to boaters in our communities. These courses are open to the public and there is no age limit for participants. Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) – A non-profit organization comprised of 17 coastal state chapters spanning the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic seaboard and the Pacific Northwest.
