"Little Hoover" Commission recommends consolidation of Cal Boating, legislature has 60 days to reject
The California "Little Hoover" Commission has recommended the adoption of Governor Brown's reorganization plan which includes abolishing the California Department of Boating and Waterways and consolidating its functions into the Department of Parks and Recreation. If neither the California House or Senate vote to reject this recommendation it will take affect in 60 days.
