Currently, we are interviewing for a Claims Adjuster Trainee for our Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. The primary focus will be 50% processing first and third-party property damage claims; 20% preparing claims correspondence (settlement, denial, status, etc. letters); 20% taking reports of new claims and answering claims questions and status updates; and 10% arranging and dispatching salvage, tows and reviewing policy coverage with BoatUS customers.
The Claims Adjuster Trainee must be able to work most days (Monday through Friday) from 9am to 6pm or from 10am to 7pm with one shift weekly of noon to 9pm. The work schedule will also include some weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications Include:
Prior Customer Service experience
Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Writen business correspondence skills Excellent verbal communication skills
