We are currently interviewing for a Claims Adjuster at our Headquarters office in Alexandria, VA. The primary focus will be taking first report of new claims, arranging salvor, tower & surveyor dispatches, and processing 1st/3rd party claims. In addition, the Claims Adjuster will prepare claim settlement letters, analyze policies and review coverage.
Position hours are: Monday through Friday from 9am – 6pm or 10am - 7pm with one 12pm – 9pm shift per week. Some weekend and holiday shifts are required.
Consideration requirements are: prior customer service experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, including fluency with writing business letters, MS Office skills and be a team player.
Desired qualifications include: prior adjusting experience, adjuster licenses, ability to multi-task and boating experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desired but not required.
