1. Within recent years the oscillating tool has come strongly to the fore.

2. These at first were tiny saw blades mounted on a tool that essentially vibrated, although the correct definition, as I understand it, is oscillation. The blades made very precise cuts.

3. Now these tools come with many different types of attachments and can perform a multitude of tasks that would otherwise be very difficult if not impossible to do.

4. I think that these are invaluable for all sorts of boat work, and yes, we now have one aboard. I prefer an AC tool rather than a battery tool. Check them out on Amazon or at Home Depot or Lowes or other tool sources.
