Cold Mornings - July 2, 2001
It's Monday
and we are still in Phoenix. And it is cold - - it was 54 degrees on the
boat this morning when we woke up! The winds are supposed to continue
today with waves up to 6' on Lake Ontario. So we'll stay where we are
for at least this morning. Although we wouldn't have any problems getting
to Oswego on the canal today, we are concerned that no one has left Oswego
to cross the lake, i.e. there would be little to no docking space in Oswego.
Not a problem - - we are well stocked with food, the library is open today
in Phoenix, and there are always plenty of chores to keep us busy. Five
other boats cruising into Lake Ontario are here also waiting.
