Island Escape -

Just a short entry this week because we're submitting this note via the radio on board "Little Gidding". E-mail over the radio is verrry slowwww. Don't even think about sending or receiving photos.

We managed to escape Florida with a few dollars left and the waterline not quite up to the gunwales. The winds cooperated and we had a comfortable overnight sail across the Gulf Stream. The city lights have disappeared, replaced with more stars than you could ever imagine. The air is warm and fresh, the water as clear as can be. Can't ask for much more than that. We'll tell you more about the Bahamas next week, after we've made our landfall.
