Questions & Answers
David,
Why is this project being done in winter, is the fishery better in cold weather?
Cheers, John
Camus, WA
John:
The reason it's being done in the winter has little to do with fisheries, and everything to do with vessel availability. During the summer, the ship is working closer to Antarctica and is busier. This was the only time it was available for such a long period. Seasonality does not much effect the fishes in which we are interested.
