Use 4 cups of one type or many types of fruit in season (e.g. berries, stone fruit, melon, apples, pears, citrus).
Cut into bite size pieces (if necessary) and place in shallow bowl.
Drizzle 1 oz. grappa or other brandy over the fruit and marinate during dinner.
Serve in shallow bowls with spoons and offer your guests sugar, cream or ice cream to top off fruit (if you wish).
