In 1995, work was continued on pumpout by developing generic education information for CVA coordinators in the New England and Mid-Atlantic States.  "Template Materials for Clean Vessel Act Education" provided camera-ready information and artwork to 14 state agencies.

Since then, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has adapted the information for use in all states implementing pumpout education programs.
