| In 1995, the nationwide "Boat Smart, Fish Smart" project was developed for the Sport Fish and Boating Partnership Council. It helped boaters and anglers become more familiar with 2 phone hotlines - one listing local boating courses and the other explaining how to purchase state fishing licenses. It provided information to more than 1.5 million boaters and anglers through state boating registration offices. | ||
