The New Bombay Trading Company is no longer in business.  Their Clearwater Fla. factory was taken over by Island Packet in the mid 80's.  Island packet started their manufacturing opration there and ( I'm told) used the mold for Bombay's 26 footer for their first boat.

Thanks for the update!  Do you know of any owners' groups for New Bombay Trading Co. boats?

I'm pretty sure that none exist.  There is a loose, Bombay Clipper 31, group joined via the "Good Old Boat" site, but nothing formal.

I own a Bombay 26 cutter, live in Hernando Beach Fla., (West Coast a bit N. of Tampa Bay) and would like to speak with other Bombay owners and compare notes.  Possibly set up some kind of owners group.  These great boats were made in Fla. so we should be able to obtain more info etc.  Anyone interested please contact me,  Bill Sloan, C 352-397-8760, email rsloan3@tampabay.rr.com
