Just wanted to say hi and it's nice to have a Rinker section here on one of my favorite web 'destinations'. The admiral and I have an '05 FV270 and so far are happy with our 'Mr Scott'. We have had some minor issues and one engine issue so far. Our dealer took care of them without a hassle (except these things always seem to take longer than you'd like them to !). Our latest issue was with what appeared to be a 'leak' in the drive unit. Apparently when the dealer called Volvo (we have the 320hp 5.7 Ocean Drive) they said there was a known issue (?) and recommended replacing the entire gear assemby. It was fixed under warranty, as it's only a year old, and seems to be fine now. Just curious if anyone else has ever heard of this?
