I've got a loaded '02 and have one problem.  A small leak in front of the power panel.  Could it be from the a/c lines?  I checked the sink and it is not leaking.  Any help appreciated.  RP

You're gonna have to trace it to find the leak.  It can only come from above where you see the leak.  A posibility is a poorly sealed bow rail mounting screw.  To determine if it's comming from the outside, run a hose on the deck and hull near where you see the leak.

My boat is a differnt model and has no AC but that's the only possibility on my boat. Everything else is below the level of the power panel.

Hi Ron, I was out this past weekend and found the compressor mounted behind my sink - poor design.  I have checked for outside leaks and all is well there.  I'm wondering if the a/c drain line drains into the sump under the step and is leaking.  Frustrating.  There is hardly any room to access the unit.  Randy

Well, that's par for the course for about anything on any boat.  You may have to remove something to get to it.  Also, lights and mirrors might help you see the area.

Just keep tracing. Unless it's shooting out of something under pressure, whatever is leaking is above or level with where you see the leak.

If it does, you should be able to tell by looking at the connections to the sump. On mine, there's one from the head compartment comming in and one to the thru-hull going out.  There are a couple more inlets that are plugged.

I know what I am going to do this weekend.  I'm going to fill and flush the sump tank several times than using a bulb (bulb from turkey baster) suction the lines into the tank.  Hopes that works because I will be running the ac this weeked.  Heat index in the 105-110 range. Randy
