I own an 2001 walkaround 20 with a 150 Mercury outboard and hardtop.  I use it mainly for fishing in the middle Chesapeake Bay area, around Bloody Point and the West River.  I've had no problems with the boat and only minor perturbations with the engine.

Hi!

I own a 1995 Proline 201 WA with a 150 HP Mariner outboard.  Most of my boating is done around Cape Cod - Vineyard & Nantucket Sound.  Do some fishing, mostly cruising to beaches/islands with the family.  Love the boat!

I currrently own a 2004 Bayliner 185 (4.3L) and thinking of selling her for a walkaround.  I have my eye on a 1997 Pro Line 20' Stalker with a 175 Evinrude.  I don't know much about Pro Line, hows thier reputation? Quality, dependability?

Proline came highly recommeded to me from people in our bay that used them.  One told me if you can't get a Grady, go for Proline.  I bought it used from someone who did a lot of fishing and was upgrading to a larger Grady.  I've found it to be very solid and seaworthy.  I'd buy another.

I own a 2005 21wa that I purchase in March of 05. I love the boat. I use it for fishing on Long Island Sound mostly in the Race. I love the boat. This is my third boat and by far the best boat I ever had.

I am the proud owner "CUZWECUD" a Pro-Line 26Walk 2001 with a single Mercury Optimax 225.  So far this boat has been everything I have wanted in a boat that I can afford.  I thought maybe it would be under powered with just a single engine but has ran as fast as I have needed it to move.  Also compared to most of the newer model Walk Arounds mine has a much better cabin arrangement.  I have added a GPS Chart plotter, Radar, multi battery (group 27's) with dedicated battery set up for house & motor.  Fuel Capacity is 170 gallons.  I noticed newer similar size models do not have this fuel capacity.  I was considering buying a twin engine set up but after consideration of various articles on twin vs single I will stay with a single set-up.  When I re power I will consider the new Yamaha 350 hp as I am rated for max of 400 hp.  It handles every sea I have encountered just fine.  I have not had a wet or hull slapping ride as some say is common to Pro-Lines.  Be your own critique after a sea trial if you have any doubts no matter what brand boat you are looking at.

Not sure if that is EFI, but you can do a Goggle search based on the year and I'm sure you will get your question answered.

Also I think of you trimmed your engine based on sea conditions you won't have a problem with a wet ride. My Walk26 came with the Bennett trim tabs which also help with ride and leveling out for uneven weight distribution on my crew-family members.
