i have a 1972 thunderbird trihull. i dont know much about it. it uses an outboard, if that helps. i beleive that the model is comanche. any info would bve greatly appreciated.

Hi there.  The 72 outboard models were as follows:

15ft - Shawnee; 17ft - Seminole; 18ft Comanche; 18ft Apache. They're all bow-riders, except the Comanche which has a cuddy, so that should tell you what you've got.  I've got a copy of the 72 brochure, which I'll happily mail to you (it is 2mb though).

can ye also send me the brochure, i have a 20 foot formula, but it dont have the cudy in it, just a straight bow, under it is a storage area, please if you can send me the info on the 72 formula's , thank you

Hi there. By now you'll have seen the brochure, but now seeing this pic I see it's not going to help you. 

At that stage "Thunderbird" was a whole different range to "Formula" and I've only got the TBird brochure.  I got that info off the current Formula website, and they had all sorts of other info there on vintage boats - check that out, might help.
