Hello Mirage owners,
I have a 217 Intruder and would like to discuss stringer construction. Does anyone know if they are solid glass or wood covered? I've got rot in the divider between the fuel tank and the engine, that's plywood and needs to be replaced. I'm looking for a simple solution, I don't want to haul the engine.
There is also no limber hole in the bulkhead so rain and some other water will accumulates ahead of the tank which is a low spot in the hull. I find myself running around with 10-20 gallons of water that won't get to the bilge pump and there doesn't seem to be room ahead of the tank to plum a small pump.... looking for ideas please.
