I just got my first Thompson.  Its a Carerra 205.  The engine is in great shape, but the boat as a whole needs a lot of cleaning up.  It was sitting outside uncovered for a year and had about a foot of water in the cuddy.

Any advice?  This is only my second boat and the first was just a ski boat.  Anything to do with the boat would be appreciated.

Thanks.

well...OK....nobody else wants to go?....

Brad, that doesn't sound good. what did you pay for it?

all of that water on the wrong side of the hull is more then likely going to lead to problems. wet stringers and floors etc and eventual rotting. was the water up to the engines? oil pans?
