Has any of you modified the way the rear storage pannel (accessible from the swim plate and under the rear seat) open on a 2008 prestancia, so that you don't have to move the rear seat forward each time you want to open the pannel?

If so how did you do it?

I am not sure about the  Prestancia, but on my Intrigue, I just removed the clip the holds the support post in place. 
With that removed, I can open the storage compartment.

On a Prestancia you can't open the door with the seat pulled out
because it is stopped by the seat top bracket. I was wondering if
anyone has modified the door to allow the door to open anyeay.

you could cut the door 3/4 of the way up and install a  hinge to fold the door , thinking of doing the same thing to my 250...
