We (JM Yachts) have a 1985 CC Constellation listed...fresh
water pump pops breaker but the mechanic says he can not
find the pump....help locating this pump would be appreciated.

We have a 1985 and the pump is located under the second step leading aft towards the office and master.  On our boat there is not a hinge we actually have to unscrew the board holding that step down.  Our pump finally went and we like other owners replaced it with a cheaper Home Depot pump that works fine.  To replace the original pump, you are looking at about $2K vs less than $200.
