Hi all...I'm a newbie, so this is my first post.  I'm looking for a replacement tach for my 1986 Catalina...it just stopped working at the end of last season.  Any suggestions?

BTW, you you tell me how to get into the Catalina owners forum?

I have a 1986 362 Catalina DCMY.  I replaced both of my tachs with fuel flow meters and have two I can sell at a reasonable price.  email me at vegimite9@gmail.com and we can work out the details.

Hi On Purr Pose,

Subj: Tachs

You need to define what type of tach you have.  Remove the tach from the dash and get all the data on it that you can get; manufacturer, model #, serial #, range of rpm, etc.  Then we can find where to get a replacement.  Old tachs can be very difficult to find.  Some aren't manufactured any more.
