1980 Santa Cruz 26"

Repowered from a single right hand inboard 351W to a single left hand 351W.

Did all the standard swaps: Indexed the Velvet drive, changed starter, changed the distributor gear. 

I have this qurky porblem. When I try to start the engine it cranks for say thirty seconds and when I let off the key it fires right up. Runs smooth.

Did I miss something in the wiring, or does the module in the Prestolite distributor need to be changed? This is truly weird.
