Are there any Owens Concorde owners out there? My grandfather had one of these boats and I practically grew up on one. It was a 1969 Concorde 27' with a FWC 427 Chevrolet/Crusader 320hp and a Borg Warner Velvet Drive 71C with a 1:1 ratio. It was a great boat that provided years of fun and had enough cabin space to sleep 6 even though it was advertised for 4. There was an abundance of room and it was a great weekender. The fiberglass on this thing was so thick compared to today's modern boats. I wish I could find it and get it back. The name on the back was You And I III if anyone has seen it in the Long Island, NY area. I'll try to dig up some pictures of these boats.

Berg,
I have a 1972 fiberglass 27ft Owens and it is a great vessel..
I have been on the water for 60 years and this boat at it's age stands out in all details...
I wish I could get it out to folks, that. in many cases, these older boats were better built than today's boats. Finding one that has been cared for is a problem, but you can if you look, and when you do find one, grab it!!

I found a few of them but I might be too picky. I plan on redoing the cabin and adding an AC/DC fridge with an alky/electric stove, new plumbing with a water heater an install a shower in the head. I'd also update the electrical too. Those boats are made like tanks!

These are some random pictures of a 1972 Owens Concorde I saw for sale. It needed some work but overall it was in decent shape for an older vessel.

Thank you for the offer but it is a little larger than what I am looking for. I'm just looking for this one certain type of boat that I used to run all the time. I currently have a Chris Craft Catalina but would sell/trade it for the right 27 Owens Concorde. 15k is also out of my price range but it sounds like you have yourself a very nice boat.
