I have a 1976 36 DC with blisters, who doesn't?  I don't believe they have any negative effect on the boat except for the appearance issue and even that isn't that bad. I want to make sure that they have no effect on the integrity of the hull so if anyone can share their thoughts or experiences I woul dbe most grateful.

NS:

The blister are purely cosmetic and not structural.  There have been several posts in the past on this issue on the Uniflite site.  Open then up, dry out, fill and barrier coat.  I have a 73 36-aft and predate the blisters.
