I am trying to locate and change the filters on the holding tanks of my 48' Californian 1991 model.  Can see the holding tanks and the vent tube exiting the the tanks which are under the master stateroom floor. Can trace tubes to the stern where they actually vent starboard and port (took a whiff of the chrome vents).  Cannot see the actual filters, but must be in a space about 18 inches tall covered by the corner finished piece which has a speaker and a 110 outlet.  Have tried to remove the speaker cover without success.  If I could remove the speaker, it appears I would have access to the area described above.  The speaker cover appears to slide on and off, but I cannot remove it with my hands, and am afraid I will break it if I use a pry.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Nelson
